Is education the key?

 Good day 

In South Africa we were raised with the believe that education is key. Key to our glowing future. Key to the finer things in life. Key to success basically. Sit back and here how it goes now. 

I am from a normal background as like any location child. Was raised by a single parent who had to go to work everyday so I can have the best that she could offer n that was excellent because that’s all I new. I went to a neighbourhood primary were later in high school I went to what they call model C. schools. With the hopes that this will advance me to a better tertiary institutions. It did. I did graduate from one of the top 10 best university in our country. 

Fast forward to after graduation. Here I am four years post everything. I am still waiting for the job I was promised. Still waiting on the rose future. I even went as far as hustling. Starting a business because I have learn something from school n I just can’t stand the idea of not doing anything. I tried most businesses but they didn’t go far not because of lack of funding but because of a pandemic. Now I am back to that place where I have to think of innovative ideas to make me money post pandemic. 

In conclusion please do not sell us ideas that do not guarantee us no one can fulfil them. What good is this piece of paper when I do not have connections. What good is it while I could have taken that money n started some but hey who am I to despise knowledge and wisdom. 

I am just another statistic whose trying her best and do not have the luxury to give up. 

Allute the struggles still continue years post the apartheid.
